How to create a Print to File local printer on Windows 11

This feature allows you to save your print jobs as files (usually with the .prn extension) instead of physically printing them. 

You can then use these files for various purposes.

 Here are the step-by-step instructions:

1. Go to Devices and Printers.
2. Click on Add Printers.
3. Click on Add a local or network printer as an administrator.
4. Click on Add a local printer.
5. Click on Create a new port: Local Port.
6. Select the Manufacturer - Generic.
7. Select Printers - Generic / Text Only.
8. Select - Use the driver that is currently installed (recommended).
9. Finish.
