How to setup supplier replication in Plex ERP

To enable this feature, the following steps must be completed:

1. In parent PCN (The Parent is the location that will maintain the Master Supplier list):
   • Classic only - Activate the permission "xPCN Replication Relationships Access"
2. Plex must configure: In all PCNs in the customer group:
   • Edit the setting "Master Supplier Selective Replication Control PCN" with the parent PCN number (This setting must be the same in every PCN in the group, including PCNs that don't wish to use replication)
3. In parent PCN:
   • In Classic, navigate to the Supplier Relationships screen.  In UX, Supplier Replication Relationships screen.
   • In Classic, click the "Replicated PCNs" button in upper left corner or action bar in UX.
   • Add or delete child PCNs from the Customer Group as necessary.
4. Plex must configure: In PCN=1:
   • Navigate to Intragroup Column Replication
   • Add the Columns you want to be synced within the PCN Group
   • Note: This must be done on production as N-Scale replication is not supported on test
5. Plex must configure: In PCN=1:
   • Navigate to Intragroup Replication Management
   • Click the ADD and enter the Customer Group, the Database & Table which should be replicated (Typical tables to replicate are: Supplier Status, Supplier Type, Payment Status)
   • Note: Adding a table here without columns defined in step 4 will cause the whole table to replicate.
     • Keep in mind while all fields in the Child PCN may appear to be locked out, replication functionality from the Parent will only occur for those fields that are listed as supported in this article.
   • Note: This must be done on production as N-Scale replication is not supported on test.
6. Optional: If you do not want the suppliers to automatically replicate to child PCNs when they are added in the master PCN:
   • In the parent PCN:
     • Enable the permission "Supplier Cross PCN Copy" for the users that can setup the replication to the child PCN's
   • Make sure that this permission is off in the child PCN's
   • This will cause the 'Copy' button to show on the supplier in the parent PCN
     • UX only - If you want the 'Copy' button to be available on the parent PCN even though the permission "Supplier Cross PCN Copy" is OFF,  add the Action "Add Supplier Replication Data" to the desired Security role that need this access.
   • Selecting the 'Copy' Button will allow users with this permission to select which PCNs to copy Supplier

** Plex doesn't support all fields from being replicated.
