How to prevent inactive users from being logged into the Plex Control Panel?
The control panel does not look at the user manager records but instead at the Employee record to determine if a user can access a workcenter.
Steps To Resolution
The issue is occurring because the user profile was made inactive when the user was still logged into multiple workcenters.
When inactivating a user account it's Plex's best practice to do the following:
1. Before making the user inactive in the Employee screen, please run the "Current Clocked In Users" report and check in which workcenters the user is still logged in.
2. Clock the user out of all the workcenters
3 . Finally, make the user account inactive in the Employee screen.
Also, please make sure that on the "Employee Status" Setup Table the "Inactive" status has ONLY the "Status Active" flag enabled.
