The component host includes a label printing component which sends print request directly to a ZPL printer.

Other Settings require for printing ZPL labels:
Values in the plPrintPipe Version setting in the Label setting group determine label printing behavior and to which printer a ZPL label print request is sent .

Setting Values:
Version 1: [default] Sends label data directly to the default printer.
Version 2: This version prompts the user for the printer to send the data to every time.
Version 3: This version keeps a flat file on the client pc and remembers the printer to print to based on the label.
Version 4: This version uses the printers from the Physical Printers screen to determine which printer to print to. These records can be referenced on the Workcenter Printer Setup screen (setting "Workcenter Printer Link Display") or the User Label Printers screen. Requires the setting = "Use Cavity Printer" to be ON.
If the user has an assigned printer, that printer will be used. Printers are assigned to users via the User Label Printers screen. The selected printer will be the most specific match for a given user/label format combination. Customers are able to specify Company Defaults which would be used if there is no match for a user specified printer.
